PsO Disease Information

 

PsO affects between 0.2% to 4.8% of the Canadian population.2

 

PsO:2,3

  • can occur at any age but generally begins in young to middle-aged adults.

  • characterized by dry, itchy, raised skin patches (plaques) covered with scales.

  • plaques may occur in a few small areas or may cover a large part of the body.
